I am looking to start projecting a slideshow and images for clients to first view! Any ideas on screen and projectors? Advice on how to go about doing it? Usually I post a slideshow on my blog for the client to view. In turn it takes many months for client to order pictures because they can view, and have friends view at any time! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks, Angie

That would depend on the space that you are going to be showing the slideshow. The distance from the screen is going to be a big factor on the size of the screen that you can have. Also, the amount of control of the light in your space is going to determine how many lumens and the contrast ratio of your projector. If the space is dedicated then you can go with a fixed screen but if it's not you will probably want something motorized or that you can put behind curtains or swing up into the ceiling or have roll up. I have a computer networked to my server that can show video on the projector and outputs sound through the theatre speakers. My screen is 110" diagonal and the first row of seats is roughly 13ft from the screen and it is a good distance depending on the resolution.

I was recently at a venue where they used a Compaq MP 2800 projector that did a great job. Proj/screen distance was about 15' & the images were bright in the normal room lighting.
