Those are some very good shots. Did you send them in to the local newspaper?

Wow... I hope no one was hurt... I know what it's like to lose a home to fire. The fire itself is only the beginning of the hardship. My heart goes out to whichever family used to call that house their home.

Nice pics, it's funny how the firefighter in that last pictures last name is Larson and the L is covered up :-P

Local news has just reported that indeed there was a fatality in the fire, in pic #3 the firefighters are shooting water at a car in the driveway which an elderly man was inside of , they did not know this until the fire was extinguished. Very sad .

Hmmm...is it really a "coincidence" that you just "happened" to be strolling by... ;) Hey man, all I'm saying is that some people would do anything for a picture... right?
All joking aside, that really sucks for this to happen this time of year. Or anytime for that matter.

That's tragic, it looks like they had all their holiday decorations up.
Great shots....love the "arson" across the firefighter's posterior ;)

Well i see alot of stuff here. I see a family that has lost everything. Christmas for this family is trashed. I hope all lives were saved. These pictures are awesome. and like I always say: they need to be copied and given the fire department. We can use them for training. As a fire fighter i see nothing wrong, love the shot of "the beast" through the screen door. As a fire fighter i would be proud of this team, BIG fire = Big hose, all packed up, PPE on. Dude nothing i see needs to be fixed.
Think of sending a copy to www.firehouse.com

Wow, incredibley harsh on the family, really makes you wanna give them a hand somehow. . .
Have to admit the "arson" bit is cruelly ironic.
Absolutely love that last shot though, minus the "arson" logo it shows a great deal of passion.

Great shots. The first 3 really show the level of involvement well.

The "arson" logo is his name "Larson". Having that same kind of "logo" on my backside I know it's a great identifier when your crawling through dark behind someone you may not know, maybe a firefighter from another town....

I agree with some here that the last shot seems to be the best of the series. The others are well captured as well. It definitely is sad, though, that a man lost his life here.

WOW this generated lots of comment. To bad it was on such a tragic event , but thank you all for the comments. The man that perished was 81 years old, he was in his car in the driveway and apparently went into a diabetic coma which somehow started the fire possibly the car accelerator was to the floor for a period of time but that was the starting point of the fire, the report had said. He lived there alone but neighbors had said he was a great neighbor and a very nice man. May he rest in peace.

It was great work from you. It was really sad event. Seeing these pictures people understand that how to distinguish the fire.

Yeah, yeah, I know that, I didn't mean it like that but I see how it seems like I did.
