Printing big, DPI??

i posted a question before and in a lot of printing threads, everyone recommends a resolution higher then 83dpi for prints bigger then 20x30.
i was checking all the pictures taken with my 350D and i found out that all pictures have a resolution of 72x72 dpi..... how can i increase this to be able to make bigger wedding prints???

That 72 dpi number is meaningless. Don't worry about it.

A 3072 X 2048 image printed 20 X 30 inches would be 102.4 PPI. That's pixels per inch, not dots per inch. That's what matters.
