I'm sure you all have heard of the BET channel... Black Entertainment Television. They have a show on there like American Idol. It is a national competition called 'Sunday Best' and it's goal is to find the best gospel singer. I have never watched the show, but one of top finalists is Crystal Aikin who is not only a resident of Tacoma WA, but a recent PLU grad.

Crystal Aikin visited PLU on Wednesday and gave a performance in hopes to see her family, friends, and, of course, increase her amount of votes and chance of winning the competition. The turnout was greater than expected, easily over one hundred guests.

She has an amazing voice and it was a blast listening to her.

Very nice set, maybe a touch too much processing/vignetting on some.
Also, focus doesn't seem spot on all the time.

That being said: *Very* strong images.

i think this is the best set of photos i've seen here! #4's wickedly creative and perfectly executed.

Theyre very good shots but I agree with Rene - looks like you either used surface blur or a noise reduction filter, a bit strong imo. But they are nice, and the B&W works well.

Thanks for the feedback! FYI - Crystal Aikin won the competition, so I'm happy for her.
