Hi guys,

Got some great news today which a) made me very happy and b) scared the sh%%t out of me. Here it goes:

I take photos at offroad races, car shows and for car tuning magazine. So I'm used to take photos of events and races. Very little experience in studio shooting, but learning on it.

Here are the news: the organizer of a kinda big tuning event down here in Latinamerica wants to produce a calendar with the tuning girls he hires for the shows. The shooting will be in january 2008 in Cartagena/Colombia, which is a very nice small town with a beautiful old town part.

Got the phone call today that the guy wants me to take the photos for the calendar, since he has seen my work from the shows and liked it. He told me that he wants top quality photos for the calendar, I just have to tell him what I need on location, he will organize it for me.

The photos will be glamour shots of tuning girls (bikini and stuff like this), some of the photos will also include a tuned car with the girl.

Any advice here regarding illumination and best time of day ?

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

Oliver

I dislike bright sunlight, so I try to hide the cars from it:

For me, the best light is late:
