Not bad.....their ResellerRatings.com score isn't all that bad, either.

I got a 512mb Sandisk Ultra II for $68.

Showed up pretty quick.

Showed up pretty quick.

Definitely worth the xtra $10... i can't stand the 1x CF when reviewing... too bad the camera doesn't have USB 2.0

Is that Sandisk a good deal at $58.75???

B&H's deals on the Lexar 40x WA cards seems much better. They are selling the 512Mb for $52.95 after rebate, and 1Gb for only $109.95 after rebate. Looks like the rebate is good for the entire month of September too.

512Mb 40x Lexar WA for $52.95 after rebate (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=337607&is=REG)

1Gb 40x Lexar WA for $109.95 after rebate (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=337610&is=REG)

The Lexar have a lifetime warranty whereas the Sandiscs have a 5 year warranty. Both are good cards though. The B&H sale seems like a better deal to me. Just received a 1GB Lexar from them yesterday. :D

Nice!! Was is the one on sale for $109.95 after rebate? I wonder if there is there is any difference between that 40x card vs. the "professional" one which seems to be more expensive for some reason, while both say 40x w/WA?

I also just noticed B&H is also selling the 80x 1Gb Lexar Pro w/WA for only $169.95!!! Now that might be nice for my new 20d (hope, hope) to get that buffer cleared out quicker when shooting in RAW mode.

Actually, I just checked Rob Galbraith's CF database, and it doesn't look like the 80x has much of an advantage over the 40x given the 50% price difference. Only about a 10% performance gain.

Just buy a $20 USB 2.0 card reader - waaaaaayyyyy faster than the camera at downloading and I don't have to risk the camera getting knocked off the desk.

Yes it is. I just checked the Lexar website and this card, the silver 40x is considered a "pro" card. I think it the same card as the old gold 40x card which was labled as "pro". Now that the new 80x cards are out they are going to be labled pro and the 40x simply high speed. :?
