A560 or A570 iS ???

Hey, I am looking for a desktop cam for quick snapshots around the house...
I know these two cams are very identical, except for the iS in the 570. The price difference is not much, so I'd pay the extra $20- for the iS, but isn't the iS take up more battery power?

If it's a camera to use around the house then battery life shouldn't be an issue as you'll always be near a charger. Life with a couple of high yield AA niMH batteries is huge anyway. Hundreds of shots. Get the IS - you may need it.

Thanx, I got the iS this afternoon and I dropped it already on hard wood floor (accident) but still working fine. I can return it till Jan-08 ;)
