BUT - re: the rules, i think it SHOULD be photos taken that week: makes the contest more difficult and imo more fun

Just to clarify the rules, the purpose of the contest encourages you to go out and shoot during the week and then post something that you've done. So current shots are preferred.

(It's an attempt to get people out shooting more and talking about gear less ;))

However shots from any time are allowed. The only condition is that they are shot with a canon camera (since this is a canon forum) and you provide your exif.

sorry, I didn't see this. Yes, I did say canon only, but I think since I'm trying to promote getting out and shooting, I will amend that rule. I have nothing against other brands, I just wanted to keep the contest to potn members (so that people don't just join to win the contests). So yes Soc, your photos are fine to enter.

NEW RULE: (and this will be amended to the first post) All cameras are allowed AS LONG as you are an active member of POTN, and not just here for the contest :) And just a reminder: banning disqualifies you from the contest.
