Shot one loses a little because it's flying away from you, but it's a bird in flight which is a plus. Shot three is a good capture but watch out for the catchlight in the eye when snapping, especally with birds with dark eyes. Shot two is maybe cropped a bit tight but still very good, and easily the best of the three.

Thanks for your comments and advice.
Its so much easier to enjoy photography now in the digital era.
Don't have the expense, wait and some disappointment when using film or slides.
Easier to experiment and you take more pictures.

:D

Right fine whirl too:)

Bird butt shots go with bird shooting in flight, good going.

Neat bird and great colors on the next two. 2nd ones head might be just a tich soft, but those little guys are almost constantly moving some, easy for that to happen.

Don't stop ya done really good!
