Hello all!
Hate to be one of those 1st post, 1st thread people. But I do feel like I belong here in some sick way. See you lot helped me pick my current camera, the canon G9! That said, this forum is great experience/e-lurking material, hence my late registration. So thank you all!
Now, to the point;
- Looking for a cheap fisheye lens solution for the G9. I wish to take the closeups with everything bubbled out Something a little like this (http://www.photoblogsmagazine.org/spotlight/parallax/selfesteem.jpg) or This (http://www1.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/1276988/2/istockphoto_1276988_fat_handed_fisheye_self_portra it.jpg) or, perhaps This (http://wvs.topleftpixel.com/photos/lomo_fisheye_lensflare_market.jpg)
- I know how the adapter thing works as i've had a S3 IS previously. (got stolen) But I was hoping for assistance and good visual examples of this whole 0.45x and 0.5x thing. (also full 180 and 185 degrees)
- I have very few requirements to the quality as i am not looking to be the best of the best, or have the quality in the highest end - I quite like the high noise actually. As it's been said about the G9 before - I'll say it again Embrace the noise. What I am looking for thou is a good price - Going to India costs money. And quite a few of those. But I get the feeling there should be some good fisheye moments down there!
Now, i found people here on the 'interwebs' willing, and able to take my money and give me something back. Just want your input here. Would i get dissapointed in some way?
