I've had this Sony shortwave radio for many years now. It was my window on the world before I had the Internet and allowed me to hear broadcasts from England, Germany, the Caribbean and many underground stations from the States. I don't use it much these days but though it deserved a decent glamor shot and was barely small enough to fit and be framed in the soft box I built last week.

This shot was lit with 200 watts overhead, taken with the EF50 f1.4 @ F13 to keep it in focus and in PP, I blurred the backdrop; an old T-shirt, and added a soft black frame.

C&C appreciated.

Cheers! :)

The light reflections on the display are a little distracting, but other than that it all looks pretty good to me.

Thanks for taking the time to look and critique the shot! I appreciate the feedback!

About the reflections; I tried moving the lights around my soft-box and just couldn't seem to get rid of it? I had all the other lights in the room turned off but the bezel screen just kept picking up the inside of my soft-box. The only thing I didn't try was rotating the radio, which probably would have solved the issue but would have killed the angle I was going for in the shot. What else might I have tried to fix that? Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers! :)
