First spider web, what are some techniques???

Ok, i tried capturing a large web around my house. I couldn't really cover it up 100%, but i think this shot came out ok for a first try. What are some methods to taking good web shots???

I misted it slightly.

looks good to me, since the background is dark, best way is to use a tripod and push the aperture higher for more sharpness and DOF
