How does this package look? http://bwayphoto.com/product.asp?id=cneos10dsgkit&pid=specs
Has anyone heard about these lenses, are they good? How far away could I take a picture of, say a dog, with the 55-200mm lens?

Stick with established stores: B&H, Canoga, Samys. If you have any doubts, check resellerratings.com or ask here. We'll help you.

Anyone ever heard of Abes of Maine? They have a decent price, although a low lifetime rating. But it seems most people just complain about expensive shipping/slow shipping. I could deal with that for saving $100 on the camera.

Add also post-sale/pre-delivery marketing pressure from Abes (surely you want the extended warranty on that, it'll save the cost of the camera. And you need this 23-way filter kit as well. And how about a case . . . ). Stick with B&H or Adorama.
