UPC registration (http://img1.pconline.com.cn/pconline/0710/09/1123158_canon_7d_xx.jpg).

Some rumored specs from a Chinese site (http://www.yjzone.com/viewthread-320084) include:

12 MP
5 fps, 21 RAWs
35 zone metering, 3.5% spot metering
15 cross-typed AF points
96% VF, 0.71x
3" lcd, 640x480 resolution
ISO 50-3200, expandable to 12800 and 25600
DIGIC III, 14-bit processor
...

Most important of all (may be?), est. price is US$2,000. Available Jan 2008

Too good to be true?

Looks like a 5D with Digic III, improved microlenses, and a bigger buffer. What about ISO 6400?

What about ISO 6400?

Just checked the rumored specs on that Chinese site, it didn't mention it. Suspicious!? Or typo!?

I cant read Chinese, but it looks like a response to the D300, but full frame. I would upgrade to this. I would also spend 50% or more for a few extra features.

Ahh, whatever. But the old sensor, re-designed, will be one heck of a low light performer. :D Hoping that that'll be added to the camera.
