Hi all,
I'm an amateur photographer, shooting currently w/a G2. RAW Mode.
Think I got over the time some "printable" shots.-Daily life pics-
Problem is: I"AM NOT AN EDITOR. I DO NOT HAVE the kind of artistry, talent, time, patience, ETCETERA, for it. :(
So what would it be the best solution? On the other hand I would like to work closely w/ the editor.
I'm based in Berlin, Germany, for the time been.Any help is much appreciated

What software?

It sounds like your ready to hire someone?

To me there are two options...

Learn to edit your photos,. or don't.

If you don't you can either print them as they are at a lab, or you could possibly hire someone to do it for you but the costs would be astronomical!

You have a few alternatives.

(1) Shoot perfect photos that do not require any editing.
---or---
(2) Learn to edit the photos yourself. It comes from practice.
---or---
(3) Get somebody else to edit them for you. That would require either payment or else a very good friend.

Thanks you all for the answers.-Sorry if the question wasn't clear enough- I got the point. Specially Bob's one. But I don't think that after 30+ years in the hobby, I'm willing to seat down in front of a PC screen, to became now a "compugrapher". Sadly this is the way the field has been dragged. :cry:

I might set up a pro rig at home, and have somebody to work at it. There are many students willing to give it a tray. Unfortunately in the other hand this part of the world is not the US, for that matter. Thanks again and happy SHOOTING!

Did you have your own darkroom when shooting film?

You can literally bring your memory card to many places and get prints wihtout playing on the computer.

Yes I did've my own darkroom. B/w Color and Cibachrome.
About to take the cards, is also a pos I'm thinking of. Thanks for the input.
