Thanks Gary and JL--I wasn't eye level at all, just somehow gives that impression. He was above me in a tree and flew in a circle around me while I clicked away. Probably 30' up or so...I've seen other shots here that give that same impression.

Yes, it was a large crop. I use the free version of Neat Image.

Thanks for the comments, I must have taken 50 shots or so of him in a tree and then flying around...this was probably the best of the lot. Some were good but I clipped the wing, etc, or the shadows were wrong. Appreciate the encouragement!
