sometimes :) Chased this wren all afternoon yesterday and today through the underbrush on the fence row and finally got him/her out in the open. Still not as sharp as it should be but I'm working on it.

Thanks Henry :) the first one he was in my blueberry bush singing his heart out and the 2nd one he was on the fence row.....hopping away from me

Thanks Gary :)

I especially like the classic 'Wren pose' in the second.

Thanks Scott... the 2nd shot is my favorite. Didn't realize how many of these we had around here till I started chasing this one.

Hi Sharon, no one mentioned it, but I think you have two species of wren here. The first looks like a House Wren and I believe the second is a Carolina Wren. Note the eye stripe. Good job catching these active guys.

:D Carl....I didn't even notice that, you're right... it does look like 2 different ones. I thought all we had were the carolina wrens....then when I posted a pic of what I thought was a carolina someone posted and said it was a house wren. Thanks for posting this info.

Thanks Scott......it's taken me quite a while to get half way decent shots, these could be a lot better than what they are
but they're the best I've gotten so far. They're almost as fast as the chickadees.

Very good shots. It can be so hard to get a good capture of these. :-)

Thanks Nits, Paul, Sindri, Joe and Karen :) I was rather surprised that these ended up actually turning out, cause they are really quick and seem to be even quicker when they know I'm trying to get a shot of them.
