Good shot :) of a very strange looking bird. That's really a weird looking bird.

That's the cock of the rock--happens to be the national bird of Peru and is found on the east and west sides of the Andes-birds on the east side are orange, on the west, red. They congregate in leks(the males do) and display for females who may or may not be present during these narcissistic exhibitions. This one just jumped in front of me unexpectedly on a hike into the highest waterfalls in Ecuador.
