#9 A very good shot. Captures the girl's moment perfectly.

#10 Got a very nice one as well here with the BG and the officiant expressing emotions.

#3 Very nice. Shows the emotion of the bride's mother.

# 1 to me looks like is way too saturated. They have a baked look in their face. Also the faces look a bit painted with too many effects.

# 6 Nice shot. I like this better than the lomo. As far as the picture quality it is a bit too soft for my taste.

# 7 Not feeling the green cast. It looks like a lomo process but the green cast is just not working in this case for me.

#8 I wished the bow was more in focus rather than the right hand. This one is prime for a vignette effect because I fee that the left hand distracts from the eye and cause it not to focus on the bow.

Overall I see that some of them are soft. Not sure if you were going for this look and did it in post or they just need some sharpening.

I like them and I feel that most of the things I pointed out can be fixed (or left alone).
You got some nice shots here for sure.

thanks! I was a little scared after a critique on another site. They do look over processed on here, the portraiture filter (imagenomoc) was set pretty low, but I will lower it further. I wasn't sure on the lomo...so i figured I would get other's reactions.

I will also fix up number 1...it didn't look right to me either, but at 4am what does! haha. THANKS!

ok it looks way more processed on here than it does in photoshop or on my comp. I guess the compressing for photobucket?

1 - not to crazy about the black background, he kind of blends in, her elbow is cut off too.
2- cool shot but very religious people (yyhhh????:) ) might consider it inapropriate with the cross in the background
3 - their poses look pretty forced
4 - nice details shot
5- 5,6 are pretty nice but she doesn't look pretty comortable..she is stiff as hell to be honest :)

9 - is nice moment but pretty distracting background and the fact that the little girl is aware of the camera doesn't help either
10- don't like the composition . you should inlcude her elbow and rather aim to have their heads in 2/3 of the frame

It is not the photobucket compression but more likely the Adobe Gama settings. Those settings only affect things in Photoshop so if you don't have those matched to what the monitor overall settings are set to (the monitor needs to be properly calibrated) then there will be issues.

In this case I think you have the Adobe Gama settings setup at a lower threshold than normal which forces you to overcompensate and in the end they are too saturated.
Had this happen on my PC at work with Photoshop CS3 and I just did a quick new profile under Adobe Gama and it took care of it.

thanks for the critique, drogos!

lol 5,6 she was getting the dress laced up...she didn't have any time for portraits, it was take what i could get...they got dressed 10 minutes before the wedding!

3...I didn't pose them! lol, they were just having a moment.

1. only got that because the limo driver insisted on a pic by the limo with his just married flag...

how stupid would it be if I pp'd out the cross to help that to seem less disrespectful?

This is too funny! I did a wedding a couple of weeks ago that sounds just like this one...not only that, but the brides are wearing the same dress!! My bride finished getting dressed and we only had about 15 minutes for pictures before the ceremony...

how funny that they are wearing the same dress! we didn't have ANY time before the ceremony, she put on the dress and was laced up within ten minutes, as soon as she was laced up, her dad came in and off we went. It was NUTS!

Nope not my first. I have been second shooter/intern for 2 years and this was my first solo. I don't have rights to post previous weddings on the internet.
