G3 + Rebel owners

Asked this question in G series room but didn't get any reply. Hope you don't mind the double post.

ZB makes a folder called "Canon" then put your photos in sub-folders according to the dates the photos were taken.

My question is, if you uninstall ZB that came with G3 and install the one that came with 300D, will the new ZB continue adding photos to the original "Canon" folder. Not sure what the new ZB will do.

If you go to install ZB, he is smart enough to detect older versions and install the new if necessary. I don't think there is a problem there, but I can't say 100%.

So do you suggest that I install the new one on top of the old one. Or un-install the old one 1st and the new one will recognize the old one (I think you mean the latter)

I'm presuming you are PC, not Mac.

Just put the CD in and let it fly. Between printers and cameras I have 7 Canon imaging products, and every time I get a new one I just run the CD. If the products are newer, they will upgrade. If they are the same or older, the current versions stay as they are.
