I've got a Markins M10 ballhead (http://www.markinsamerica.com/MA5/M10.php).
I've got an RRS QR lever clamp (B2 LR II) (http://www.reallyrightstuff.com/rrs/Itemdesc.asp?ic=B2%2DLR%2DII&eq=&Tp=).
I've got the 3/8" bolt the Markins came with.
The bolt screws into the Markins; it screws into the RRS clamp.
What I'd like to know is, how do I screw the bolt into these pieces so that the QR clamp is oriented "correctly" in relation to the ballhead? I'd like the clamp's lever to be opposite the large knob on the ballhead. Whenever I've managed to get them together (it's a bit frustrating, as the bolt often ends up screwing all the way into the Markins, and the QR clamp falls to the floor), the clamp ends up at a 90-degree angle to the large knob.
Is there a trick to this that I can't figure out?
