I have a photo op for a soon to be high profile artist. They are looking for a high grade promo/media photo that can compete with the todays top artists. All I have is a single on board 430ex for lighting. What do I do?!
</freak out>

Learn how to use the flash..........bounce it. Or use it off the camera with a pocket wizard or canon cable attachment. You can get great photos with a single flash.......it is knowing how to use it effectively.

you can rent more lights or off camera cords/wireless options.
Are you sure ou know enough lighting principles to make this enjoyable for both parties?

Probably not but i'm not charging unless the customer chooses to use my work so i'm the only one at a loss here and time is not a major issue for me rite now.
I have done some studio/portrait shots bouncing and manually stopping up the flash with pretty good results. I have a problem with blowing out high lites to get the results I like and usually have been keeping 2 or 3 images out of every 80 or so I shoot. I really don't mind the blown out hight lites to much. I assume its what I am going to get working with one on board flash.
