Hello Everyone,

I need some advice, my girlfriend is the kind of person who likes to take photo's of her girls where ever they go whenever they do something.....i want to make her something really special and am looking at designing at wall hanging of lots of little pictures in a collage.

Could anyone tell me how big i should make the photoshop file and how big each individual picture should be.

Also where could i get this printed in the UK

Many Thanks
Richard

Maybe not exactly what you're after, but this seemed like a good idea, really simple...obviously you could scale it to your needs.

How could we tell you that?

You need to decide on the final dimensions of the image and set your Photoshop file size to that with a resolution of about 300 dpi. From there, determine how large you want the individual photos to be, set them to that size with the same dpi (resample as necessary), and drag them over onto your Photoshop Collage file (as a layer), then you can move them around ot your heart's content. Once you have all the photos (layers) arranged as you want them, save a copy, then flatten the file and take it to your printer. If youre' going to use a mat when you frame the image, be sure to allow a margin on your edges to accommodate the mat.

www.Photobox.co.uk.

They also have collage poster designs where you just drag and drop your pics into the spaces.
