I start to think that next lens to buy is Canon EF20mm 2.8f, considering the use of it on both 1.6 crop factor of 20D and film camera I have (7ne)
does anybody have one? if so how do you like it?
even though back in old days that i was using Minolta all of my lenses are zoom renses, now somehow do not think of the need of zoom lenses.. (not sure why)
here is what I have so far:
100mm 2.8f macro, 50mm 1.8f, 7ne, and 20D on the way

I have the 20mm....I don't have anything bad to say about it. It is sharp, not very expensive and the USM is fast....also has full time manual focusing. I guess the only problem is that with the 1.6x crop factor, it is still not that wide. But if it will work for you, I give it high marks.
I have heard people say that the Sigma 1.8 is pretty good as well.

According to Photodo.com (http://www.photodo.com/prod/lens/detail/CaEF20_28USM-55.shtml), this lens is OK, no more and no less. The rating is a bit low for a prime lens, but this is a wide prime, so I guess that this is as good as it gets. Don't forget that with 1.6 crop body you'll be using the center of the lens, where it's sharper than at the edges.

Thanks for the inputs..
ya.. it seems that this lens isn't as popular as others.. so was just wondering.. about it.. I am not so landscape person (so do not wanna spend too too much on the wide andle lens), but sometimes I come across some landscape that I wish if I had wider lens than 50mm so I thought having this might help..
