All right, I was just curious how many orders you have purchased with BH and how much the total cost of it all was. In store and online both count.
I'll start. This is gonna be paintful.
Orders: 24
Total Cost: $17,913.25
Average Order Amt: $746.39

My turn.
Orders: 31
Total Cost: $20,563.63
Average Order Amount: $663.84
Now...that's not nearly all the orders, but my phone orders and such aren't listed. However, that's high enough. :p

You guys actually keep track?:o:lol::lol::lol:
I'm lucky I still have a good credit card.;)
Don't know. Don't really want to. If I did know, I'd probably start crying I didn't get the little red Mercedez.

Hehe well its easy for me to look it up online as I only buy from BH online.
This amount doesnt account for the lighting setup I have and other stuff I have purchased locally that's photography related.
I didnt want to know either, but I want to know what others spend haha so I dont feel so bad!
Just go do it Suzy lol. Who needs a Mercedez? :)

No Suzy, I don't keep track. I was talking to Jeff, and he suggested I add it up. Since I'm just sitting here, I did.

I don't have a clue either. I have been buying from B&H since the late 70's, so it's got to be a hefty amount.

I've got around 56 orders since 2003 totaling more than twice what I've seen posted so far. And these don't even include the orders from RRS and a few other places. Yikes! I feel faint now. I think I was better off not knowing. :|

That's what I mean, Maureen. I just can't bring myself to admit that I am addicted to camera gear.

Suzie,
It's not an addiction it a commitment to excellence in photography :D Just look at B+H as a partner in all this ;)

Judging by your gear list, either it wasn't photographic or it was a consumable.

7orders in the past 18 months.
$7,400 total
$1,045 average
I don't feel bad about this total considering I spent over $50K in the same time frame on my primary hobby (motorcycles).

I sold my motorcycle so that I could have more funds for my digital photography hobby which made my then new wife very happy (she wasn't too thrilled about me riding around in a motorcycle). :)

Leo, I can't imagine you on a motorcycle. Have any shots of yourself?

While I keep my boxes, I always misplace my receipts, so I really have no idea. Also, I have gotten my last two bodies (1DsMKII and 1DMKIII) from a different place as B&H was always out of stock.
When I think of what I spent as a teenager on contraband, I'm quite content spending a fortune on legit stuff now.

Although I usually took my (film) camera with me whenever I went riding on my motorcycle out in the countryside and windy mountain roads, I never had a picture taken of myself on the bike. But if you saw some of my pictures when I was a kid on a tricycle, a bicycle with training wheels and a regular bicycle, it wouldn't surprise you to see me on a motorcycle as a grown up. Just to clarify, the motorcycle I had was not a Harley or something similar. It was a Hondo sports bike, commonly referred to as a crotch rocket. It was a 1995 Honda CBR600 F3 to be exact. :)
