Took some maternity pics for one of my co-workers daughters. I was pretty happy with how they came out for my first attempt at this kind of photo. Would love some C&C about them from those of you more experienced.

well, I've only done one maternity shoot, so I won't comment on posing, etc too much, but I think you did a good job with that. They all look like they could use a bit of pop. They also might have benefitted from a bit of fill flash to keep the eyes from being too dark. The bright spot on #3 is distracting, but since it's her clothing, could probably be cloned out fairly easily. I would prefer a closer crop on the last, but my personal taste is for close crops, and I'm sure some would disagree. I'm sure they'll be quite happy with them!

I have been doing a lot of these lately, i tend to go inside put up a black backdrop and shoot from there, window lighting is good because you can bounce your flash and get a more even light.
Next time try going inside...i dont use a studio at all and all seems to work in my favour with the correct exposure.

Pixi, I love the one on the right in the second row, that is gorgeous, the composition, the lighting, everything.

LOVE the first one with the baby shoes... I think these are a lot better than some of the other ones I've seen in here! DEFINITELY agree with cropping the last one! Get that house in the background out AT LEAST :)
