Good set of pictures, the odd shadow, but thats part of indoor shooting.
Looks like you have made a good investment.

i think next game I am going to try the 50mm 1.4 USM lens. There are a few times when i am right under the basket that I need more room from the lens.

so your new alienbees arived? congrats! are these shots with both strobes setup?

Its a little less consistent than your last couple posts, but still some good results. On a 1.6 crop body I really find that 30mm is a good under the hoop lens, but you can probably make do with a 50. gl!

yeah these are with the new B800 alienbees. I am still trying to find out the best angle and which reflector to use to be honest. I tried the 11 incher and it might spread it to much to bounce it off the ceiling. I think the 7 inch might do it better because it would be more of a constrained shot going into the ceiling (I think).

Not sure that makes sense lol But I liked the results and would still prefer the use of strobes over ambient light in High School gyms.
