I'm not sure it this was the female or the Juv. They were both darting about searching for food. Even thought Juv could feed itself, mum was stuffing little bugs into it.

400mm f/5.6 at about 1.9m away!

Not very sharp, perhaps the lens doesn't do so well at that range?

Wayne, it doesn't look that bad to me, looks reasonably sharp here. Nice light btw.

The bird look sharp to me. Very nice lighting and background.
