I recently traded for a Bogen 322RC2 grip action ball head. I am looking at pairing it with an AT-A105T enDurance™ Series Tripod Legs by DynaTran.
Is this a good combination? I use a Rebel XTi and my largest lens at this point is my 70-300 canon.
Thanks for the input.
Any other recommendations on affordable legs for this head would be welcome as well.

all depends on what you want to do and how serious you are about your tripod legs and ballhead.
Do you care about light weight, stability etc... Tell us about that. What does affordable mean? You've got some nice gear, so I presume you are serious about your photography.

See my teardown in sig on the Dynatran. I think it's a great introduction to the feature set of tripods costing many times more. At the same time it's not at the same level of build quality as the more expensive tripods it copies. The carbon fiber technology and other materials used are pretty much standardized throughout the tripod manufacturing world in my opinion, and mostly there would be fit and finish issues (parts tolerance, etc.) That said, it should survive very nicely for a number of years of moderate use. I have been using it with a 1D and 400 f/5.6 for a couple of months now and find it perfectly acceptable. It's shortcomings to date are the locking knobs require an extra twist to fully lock them down after they appear tight. For your equipment, since it is a three series equivalent tripod (32mm upper leg segment diameter) you should be fine with that 300mm.
No experience with your ball mount, but since you already have that it's water under the bridge for now. :-)

There are quite a few POTN members here have the enDurance AT-A105T carbon fiber legs and are happy with it. I am currently using AT-L105T and might trade it in for a A105T. Not that it has anything wrong with the L105T. :)
Yeah, check out Stew's teardown.
