Hi Guys here's a couple from today at Grizedale, to me they really capture the atmosphere of the day, and the one of the MG I really like, but I'm not sure why ?

comments most welcome

#1 Looks cool. Have you tried it with a tighter crop?

Really like #1, looks like a rough day!

Top one for me Alan, it shows the conditions perfectly...on a clear day you'd be able to get the lake in the background from that angle.

Great shots.

I think both those shots show how bad the snow was, the 40d that I was using was having real problems focussing.

I thing the second one shows it better. Seems thinker and the snow on the car helps

Thanks for the comments guys, will try a crop on the 1st one and see how it looks, must admit though the 2nd one is still the one that appeals to me most.

I like the first one just like it is. It tells the story of the the conditions and the location. A tighter crop is not going to reveal anything more about the car or how it is being driven, let another picture do that.

Nice shots Alan. The 2nd one would make a good Christmas card
