hi all,
Will the A80 sensor get damaged if pointed directly to a light bulb or any other indoor light source? cause the sun is known to cause damage.
thanks..

In the days of old, the video sensor would be damaged if hit by direct sunlight focused through the lens.
Since then, though the sensors are much more durable and will withstand occasional sun pictures without burning in, or worse destroying the pixels.
As long as you don't make a habit of sun pictures (with lots and lots of compositional time), the CCD will happily survive the sun shots.
The manual likely warns of prolonged sun exposures.
