I have a 30D with the BG-E2 grip and would like a hand strap for it. But, the Canon strap is only usable in the landscape position. Is there a hand strap you can use with your hand in the portrait position, which is why I got the grip.

You mount the strap on other side of camera and adjust strap . They do sell on ebay with bracket that screws into the tripod hole , but It does get in the way if you use a QR plate . Useable but ungainly .
I have not read of a good solution for landscape and portrait straps .
Maybe you should look at flip brackets , but they are ungainly too in flipped position . Just no designed to hold and use other button .
Check on the POTN ad above and email them - they may have some suggestions .
