UNCTEP

Shot my first wedding today, which was actually a lot of fun - was nervous about it all week, but everything worked out ok.
The wedding was very small, and was to take place at a local inn, which has an original (updated with some modern necessities) cabin from the late 1800s. The bride-to-be was upstairs in the loft area getting prepared for the ceremony and asked the groom to build a fire in the cabin's fireplace. All was going well until it was discovered that apparently something was blocking the chimney, and all the smoke rolled back into the cabin. This of course, set off smoke alarms and then the unexpected guests rolled in:

No harm done thankfully, the ceremony was moved and the couple was upgraded to the "penthouse cabin" of the establishment, so in the end everyone was happy (except for the cleaning crew - getting the smoke stench out of everything will probably take a while!) Certainly made my first wedding experience one that won't be forgotten.
