Yes, I think it's cool too :-) Nice composition.

The only thing I would do if it was my photo, would be to Photoshop a couple of necklace beads into the gap where the joiner is.

Is your name Sherlock Holmes? ;) Yes, she has braces...stinkin' things! I've gotten used to them (I shoot her alot), but I guess it is pretty noticable. Maybe in another year or so she'll have them off and I can reshoot. :)

I'm somewhat of a hat freak, so I pick them up at garage sales, flea markets and such. It looks authentic because it is. I have tons of vintage hats. I was born in the wrong era. :)

I love it. The only thing that I personally don't like is the hand shadow. It reminds me of a shadow puppet.

I noticed that same thing in another shot of her (I thought she had something in her mounth, which, technically, she does) but didn't realize it was braces. :) been so long since I had braces. bet she'll have a beautiful smile when they come out :D
