I have the Canon ZR 45 camcorder that also allows me to take pictures. The Zoombrowser software came along with the camcorder. I recently installed everything and tried to use it but even though I can see the index of pictures from my camcorder on the half screen that comes up as soon as I connect my camera, zoombrower will not let me select any pictures to actually import onto my computer. Whenever I do click on a picture, it says this:
failed to copy file. possible causes are:
the camera is not connected properly; the battery is low;
the file source is missing or read only;
the target folder is missing or read only;
or the target file exists and is read only
I think my camera is connected correctly because I did everything the manual said and it did say that it was connected to a PC on my camcorder. It's not possible for the battery to be low because the camcorder is hooked up to an AC outlet...
And I dont really understand the rest of the possible causes so I dont know what to do to fix this. I dont know what im doing wrong. I just want the picture to get imported onto my computer. can anybody help? Thanks a lot.
