It all ends up on the memory card, so if there is something wrong after all your effort it is lost there.
i am not asking about speed nor price... i am asking about reliability...
which one would you choose?

I have both, never had a problem with either. I just go on price at the time of purchase. No poll option for either so i'll pass on vote. ;)

I own Sandisk, PNY and Twinmos. PNY is the only one which crached. A picture was burned into the card and no formatting worked.

I voted Sandisk, because that is my current card of choice, but I have both and never had a problem with either.

I have both, although I have only one Kingston (1Gb) and 7Gb of Sandisk CF cards

Sandisk, just because the price is usually lower. Either one is fine.

Voted Kingston. Have 2 x 1Gb Elite Pro. Nothing against Sandisk, just what I bought. FWIW, never had a problem (fingers crossed)

I have always trusted Sandisk and they have never let me down. I have no experience of Kingston cards, but their RAM has always served me well.

Had both, never had issues with either of them. Currently all my CF Cards are Sandisk just because it has happened to turn out that way with deals I have found and such.

I voted Sandisk because that's what I use. But I'd have no hesitation in trying Kingston at all. They've got a good reputation as far as computer memory goes anyway.

have both, the sandisk have a manlier sticker while the kingston are all hippie like with animals and flowers...yes this is a ridiculous reason to pick one over the other, just my example of how equal they happen to be for the important reasons, like taking pictures :)

Hi,

On don't think there is any difference in quality between both brands.
May be in written/read speed and price.
I own 4 Kingston and only one Sandisk, never have any problem. And didn't notice any difference in speed.
For me both brands are great.

Laurent.

I own two Kingston, one Ridata, and one Lexar CF card. The Lexar and Ridata have each experienced card corruption exactly once. In each case, the photos were fully recoverable using PhotoRescue. Both cards continue to work without problems for many shoots after those instances.

The two Kingston cards have never had a problem.
