Engagement shoot - 12/08/07

So, I actually have never shot engagement photos before. All of my weddings have just been weddings. I was a bit nervous to shoot this engagement as I don't really like being in control of posings and such. Let me know what you guys think.

Also, my cross processing for 3 and 10 look a little pink here so I'll probably have to fix that

great composition, and the couple looks so natural! #10 is pink, like you mentioned....but i dont' have any complaints.....excellent job!

I really Like that you got some good shots of the Ring... esp. the one with the guy holding it up. I've seen a ton of engagment shots that don't show the ring at all, when the first thing that the bride-to-bes friends and family ask is "lets see the ring"... The first one is fantastic as well, very creative shot!

I have to agree, #7's my favorite also. NICE WORK! Thanks for sharing them. I've got some engagement shots to take too this weekend. I'm looking for ideas to get away from cheeziness. Thanks for some of the ideas & I'll try to post mine up later next week.

Okay, here we go....

1. Uhm... you need something to focus on in the foreground that has something to do with the couple. I just find that focus point to be weird.
2. I like the idea, seen it done before, but his hand is dark and looks rather large in that photo. It could be because of the pp you have done.
3. I like it except her shirt matches the background, sucking her into it.
4. A little too tight
5. Weird
6. Beautiful
7. Awesome
8. I like this one too!
9. Her hair is all over.
10. Weird

Not trying to be too harsh on these, it's just what I see.
