Here is some Grasstrack racing action from High Easter yesterday.

These fast-moving motorcycles with no brakes (and often with sidecars) circled the dustbowl, providing a selection of pictures below.

Let me know what you think. I've posted the pics that I think reflect the range of racing that was taking place.

I think that they all are terrific.

Tecnically they all look great. T
he 2nd shot with the Green Machine + Teammate lying over the back of the bike with ina "dust storm" is just super. -- just super!

Thanks & Well Done.

Absolutely awesome shots! If anything I would do, is add saturation to make that grass greener, and other colors even stronger and probably a bit of contrast, but that's just me. Very very good!

Great shots. I do agree you could have improved the color with some
post processing, but thay are great action shots.

Very nice indeed.

Possible suggestion--slow the shutter speed down a tad bit more for the side shots. That way, the front and rear wheels will be blurred a bit to give the feel of speed. The difficulty in those shots, however, is keeping the rider(s) sharp and the background and wheels blurred.

Just a couple pennies.

...for your comments. I agree that a little bit more saturation might be a good idea. It was so dusty that all the colours were a little muted at the time and the grass was far from bright green!

I did do a bit more panning and I've posted a couple more pics as I feel these show a bit more motion - they were all shot at 1/100s. I've also boosted the colour slightly as well.
