Excellent, you are killing me now Gary as all or at least all of the smarter GBH's have left for southern areas. Nicely done.

Very nice Gary:
Sharp as a tack and I like the lighting. I can't wait to start bird shooting, I just need a longer weapon. Possibly the 100-400 F4.5-5.6

Great shot.

Thanks Caper

I have shot with a 300/4 with good results and I have a 1.4 TC which brings it to 420/5.6

Fantastic shot all around, Gary. Love the blue water background and it's contrast with the GBH.

Nice shot Gary. Is that fish impaled on its upper beak? It kinda looks that way. I was watching a GBH yesterday up on the roof of a local business. It looked like a weather vane!

Thanks Ed

Yes they actually spear many fish then the lower their head and with a little shake the fish come off and they catch it again before it hits the water.

That is a super shot Gary, from his grip on the rock to the fish on his beak. It must be a real treat to watch them going about their business.

That's a great shot Gary, and that bird looks very happy with it's catch. They must have a very powerfull thrust to spear those fish like that and a sharp beak. I hope to see this sometime....steve
