They look good But get away from the kit lenses and get some faster lenses you won't regret it..

yes and yes :)

This was take with a Sigma 70-200 2.8 You really don't want anything less that a 300 2.8 for football. Right now I shoot with a 70-200 2.8 and a 170-500 5.6-6.3 (but this lens is not good for night games...)
