nice, i like it. very good panning shots. what kind of lense were u using? some auto-x pics ive seen that look awesome are the ones where the car fills more of the frame up and also have a bit of blur to it.

Next time try to low the speed, so that the rims can look a little out of focus to give the movement idea... so the card doesnt seems parked at the track.
keep it going

I was using my sigma 24-60mm lens, I could trim and crop the photos to fill the frame. yeah I slowed down the shutter speed a little but I guess not enough.

It's been too long since I've been down to Qualcomm for SCCA. I drove by there sunday morning too and wondered if they were running, but with the car sale in the east lot, I didn't think they'd be there. The shot of the Corvette looks pretty good, but it would be nice if you had something that could zoom in tighter. Try experimenting with some lower shutter speeds, even down to 1/60th, 1/50th, and see what you come up with.

Could you crop #3 and repost?

I'd definitely like to see the cars filling more of the frame..
Do you have a telephoto lens?

Crop looks much better to me - much less distractions.

Nice shots. I would crop in a bit closer and next time go a bit slower w/ the shutter speed to really get a sense of motion since autox doesn't get too fast
