yeah they're fat 5's...

an ls in there, not too shabby! would be nicer if it were say, a type-r or what not but the las is cheap and practical!!!

haha, yes a type-r would be nice...almost had the b16 in there but decided to try the ls-vtec but that hasn't happened yet :-P

if you do still go that route, PLEASE make sure you do it right and at the very least get new rod bearings. the vtec head just pushes that bottom end too hard and you will begin to spin the bearings.

ive seen it happen all too often, people think its all high and mighty and then bam, no more.

the smart route is just build the bottom end with new pistons and rods and you'll be set...

poor-man's type-r: gsr block, b16 head + some other little things = mmmmmm lol

haha, thanks. but I'm sure it will be awhile till i can go that route seeing as how I still have a photo gear wish list :-D It runs fine for now. just need to fix stuff cosmetically and look into some other cheaper ways to upgrade the power.

very true...im not even gonna mod my civic this time around. just not worth dumping the money into it. id rather spend it on camera gear as well, seeing as it may give me a return, and the car, really wont be an investment. ive had my modded cars, and now im kinda growing away from it...

what kind of little power mods are you thinking of? whats it already have?

I only have a different air filter. not really open air but kind of. so already increasing the air but I think i want to get a more open air filter for it. and that's it. prolly just get the typical headers for it. I still have to get my hood painted and change out a couple lights and somehow get those two front small lights to work. oh and my door slightly ajar but doesn't affect it too much, and the passenger power window stopped working after my window broke :-P and I don't really want to get a whole new car at the moment cause I want to upgrade my gear and get some more megapixels. my photo capstone class wants us to print 11x14 and after using the 1Dmk1 I don't know if I will use my 10D much :-P
