facebook competition

Hi guys,
one of my friends entered the facebook amateur photo contest, he received a reply saying that his photos are going to be published and that he will be able to go to Las Vegas, is this some kind of scam. I think it is but I wanted to see if you guys have experienced this. Thanks.

yes. i was part of this so called "****" idea.


But this was before facebook. id say back in 01 or something i got information in the mail.

Dont do it. Your picture is published alright. in a book with 4234349823498798723498 photos. Some being really good. and some just snap shots from who knows which grandma's camera.

waste of time. money.

let me guess. Picture.com or something to those lines?

I've seen that on facebook many times, but never bothered to read it
