MJ--Really nice start on your web site. Congratulations!! Hopefully, you'll be selling in no time. The pic's look good, and the site is easy to navigate.

Site looks good MJ, my only dislike is the no right click functionality, annoying, since it means I couldn't see the HTML etc. Of course, smart cookies like me know how to get around that and still grab the html files.
The reason why I wanted to look at the HTML code is to see what the meta tags were. If you look at the SRC code:
<meta name="keywords" content="praymantis" />
You'll see that you only have praymantis as the content. You might want to add more terms here - mantids, praying mantis, breeding, your name etc, so that the web spyders will pick it up and add it to Google and other search engines. That should mean more hits etc. A good website for learning HTML and associated technology is:
http://www.htmlgoodies.com/
Have a look at the SRC code on my webpage, you'll see what I've done. As an example:
<meta name="Description" content="The World of Macro - photography by David Pastern. Featuring photographs of macro, portraits and galleries and exhibits of images.">
<meta name="KeyWords" content="The World of Macro , Nature, Photography, Wildlife, Macro, Flowers, Insects, Arachnids, Photographs, Cameras, photo album, gallery,photo gallery, digital, photo, gallery, online, David Pastern">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8">
<META name="Copyright" content="Copyright 2006 David Pastern http://www.macro-images.com/">
<META http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en">
<META name="revisit-after" content="15 days">
<META name="robots" content="index, follow">
<META name="rating" content="General">
<META name="robots" content="All">
Dave
edit: What did you use to do the code? It looks horrid (doesn't affect the actual look/functionality of the website of course). I like neat code ;)

Sounds like a good idea. You're never going to stop the thiefs that want to steal images, trust me. Well, not very easily. The best way to do this is to construct the site in flash entirely, I haven't figured out a way of breaking into those websites yet ;) Any standard html/css/java though can generally be grabbed if you know how. I use a tool called WGET, very nice, and free of course ;) I could use that to download your entire website if I really wanted to (provided I had a fast connection of course).
I simply took a guess that your main page was at the root level of the domain, and was named index.html, so effectively told WGET to get it and it did.
