I am getting a 40D tonight and will be shooting lots of macro shots. I was looking at this:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/MACRO-RING-FLASH-CANON-EOS-300D-30D-5D-1D-1DS-10D-20D_W0QQitemZ120193951360QQihZ002QQcategoryZ48515Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and wondering if I could get some feedback or opinions on it.

thank you.

appears to have only one bulb so you wont be able to adjust the ratio of left and right light although I suppose you could place tissue on one side or the other. Ring flash is not as good as a diffused off camera normal flash in my opinion though it has its uses.

Think that would be hard to use (no ttl metering by the look of it). Like Toby I'd rather use a ETTL normal flash.
