The title of the thread would be a cruel title for such a new member going through such a tough time.
I second the nomination! :D

next week I can just see two pw's for sale with pliers marks all over the contacts and dobs of solder burnt into the plastics plus two hot shoes that have been trashed by pw's going in the wrong way.... priceless, and 4 pages over one hour to solve it.

Oh no....poor guy. That one's harsh...I figured he might have gotten a reminder to put the PW's on the right way or something.

Even though he admitted to being deserving of that title....that is way harsh...yikes...

Ouch, that isn't a very nice title... in fact, a little on the offensive side to some...
I was thinking something more related to the PWs...

Well I guess now I can come out of the closet and admit that when I first got my 580EX I messed up the hotshoe on my 300D trying to put it on backwards. I just couldn't figure it out. I kept trying to force it. I finally looked at the manual and the light went on.

I should have posted a sarcasm emoticon or something - personally, I figure it is just people upping their postcount - especially when I see the 'correct' answer being given several pages after the OP has thanked someone for fixing a problem...
rich tapestry of life stuff I reckon ;)

I saw the new title but can't make it out. I must be thick headed today. Anybody want to clue me in? What do the initials mean?

It was originally "BIGGEST DOUCHE BAG ON POTN", but then changed to "Mr. Wizard "B.D.B. on POTN"".
Mr. Wizard (smart guy, pocket wizard reference) B.D.B on POTN (Biggest Douche Bag on POTN (without spelling it out specifically))
That thread got a lot of people marked.

Thanks, Idiot. (Somehow, that didn't sound right :| ). It was the B.D.B. I didn't get but, thanks to you, I know what it stands for now. :)

Yeah I found it pretty far out of line. I'm surprised that was allowed for as long as it was with all the recent changes to the forum.

I personally have not ever used the term myself nor heard it being used so, although I know what the words mean literally, I can only guess at the meaning as used in this context. However, if you would like to enlighten me, I would be more than grateful for your effort.

Gosh, I think some people need to lighten up.
It's an inside joke. The only people who will know what "B.D.B." stands for are the people who read the thread, who know he's man enough to laugh at himself, and know that the title came as the result of his own proclamation.
Let's find something more significant to fret about.
