First of several photos that I hope to post for review and feedback.

This is the status outside the church in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Would welcome tips on how to improve the sky.

TIA.

Thanks - I was wondering why I'd received no comments.

Looked alright on my machine here; however, the browser had cached the image

Thats a great shot! As an ex-Christchurch boy myself I have never seen the Catherderal from that perspective. I especially love the way the statue is looking straight at the camera!

As for the sky, not sure what you could do there, you could try increasing the contrast a little perhaps, but then again it might be just right now.

Its a Kiwi thread!

Beautiful pic!

I especialy like the perspective, it reminds me of the first time I saw the Catherdral and just tilting my head back and looking up the tower.

Was it shot in B&W? or converted?
If its been converted then there is a very nice sharp line that will let you isolate the sky in PS and adjust the levels, apply filters etc, and pull out more detail before converting the whole image to B&W.

Sky? no improvement needed. The Cathedral's the focus right?
great shot.
