I'm almost tempted to get this just because of the fact that after the 1.6 multiplier it's 2080mm!

Found a better one, 3200mm after multiplier and the 2x that comes with it:

Those are undoubtedly the slowest and funkiest lenses that I have seen advertised.

I can't even imagine how dark the viewfinder will be at f16.. or maybe I can, but manual focusing with that thing and getting it right will have something to do with luck. Definitely not for moving targets.

Can you imagine walking around with that? Buwhah you'd get shot 'cause people think it's a rocket launcher.... I'm curious though how the quality is on that lens? I asume B&H goes through product evaluation for everything they carry?

Now that would draw some attention, aside from making me look like the coolest photographer ever. :P

I would rather have my photographer's reputation based on the quality of my images, not what I have hanging around my neck.

All so funny
As one who likes (ok-NEEDS) a bargain in long lenses,i'd like to say that some of these longer lenses aren't too bad. Some are built like a 'real' lens with lots of elements/groups.That one in particular though i think is a lousy one.I can't be bothered checking at the moment but i recal it has about 4 elements..(?)
