Can I mix single exhibitions and groups on the main index page?

If I make an exhibition a member of a group then I would like to see the group on the main index, if it is not a member of a group, I would like to see the exhibition on the main page.

It's a friends and family photo album. Some should be arranged in groups (eg. scuba club diving trips) but others should stand on their own. Is this possible?

At the moment they are in 2 exhibitions

Now all I have to do is figure out how to combine them into the one exhibition.

Not yet. This is now under development and will be there in 1.5.

With the coming system you can have groups and exhibitions on same level and arrange the nesting as you please.

1.5 is out. How do you do this? I'm still getting "unsorted exhibitions" when I create a group... http://www.flamingduck.com/gallery

I also have the index set to "News on Bottom" under Misc. Settings. As you can see, after using a group it is not doing that. Am I just missing something?

1.5 is out. How do you do this?

I'm trying to figure that out as well.

I can'r help feeling I'm missing some little setting somewhere...

Strictly speaking 1.5 is not out. Currently you have an RC version (Release Candidate). It is a long tradition with EE to stay in RC versions, I'll intend to break that tradition soon :) See http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53115

OK, fine. haha. But does the nesting work, yet? In your development thread you say it does. But it's not clear if it's already IN the RC or if it's going to be added before 1.5 final.

If it's already there, how do you make it work?

Thanks. I just switched over from JAlbum and love it, so far. I'll be looking foward to the nesting.
