anyone have some pictures they took with this lens or some insight on it... i dont have a whoel lot of money jsut got laid off so n L seris for me...

I have the lens you're talking about. Overall I'm pretty happy with it. I don't think that it's sharp enough wide open or at 300mm but to be honest, I don't know how much to blame on the lens and how much to blame myself. (I'm a noob)

I'm going to get rid of it, only because I need a faster lens for night time sports. F5.6 just doesn't cut it!

Anyway, I looked around for an example of the lens and what I think is a fairly sharp photo. I know, it's not perfect but you'll get the idea...

All those pics were taken with this lens. I'm pretty happy with it. If you feel like waiting a month or so until I get the 100-400 I'd be happy to sell you mine (couple months old, still under warranty, and it's in impecable condition).

that really shows what the e lens can do I guess I herd allot of bad reviews about it but I want something till I can get that 1500 white bodied one I should have saved some money but I got laid off kind of kicking myself in the ass bought a bunch of new stuff for my other hobbies and total forget about getting some camera equip... But its next on my list hopefully work picks up again... anyways thanks u very much for posting those pictures I found the lens on eBay for 160... Not to bad I don’t think and it’s in good condition but thanks u very much for sharing those pictures... But what would u sell your for my dad might be intrested...
